The percentage of residents with active library cards has increased dramatically from 50% of the township population to 63% today. Everyday we are serving more and more residents in our community with very limited space. The use of technology and the Internet in the library continues to increase, and demand for traditional library services has matched this growth.

Limitations also include:
• A limited collection due to space constraints.
• No quiet reading areas.
• Limited study areas for students.
• No dedicated space for children's programs.
• No drive up book drop.
• Limited accessibility for disabled patrons.
• No dedicated space for teens.
• Antiquated utilities and roof jeopardize
   current collection.
• No place for senior programs.
• A water supply deemed "unusable"by the Kent Count Health Department
• No public meeting spaces
